TempCreators ("we", "us", "our") provides an AI-powered resume and CV platform, including CV building, ATS scanning, and related document tools (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the rights you have over it. We collect the following categories of personal data:• Account data: name, email address, password hash (or Google sign-in identifier), job title, and account preferences.
• Content data: resumes, CVs, cover letters, uploaded PDF or Word files, prompts, and any text you enter into the Service.
• Subscription and payment data: plan, billing status, transaction identifiers, and invoices. Card details are handled by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, ATS scan counts, AI request counts, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP, and timestamps.
• Support data: tickets, messages, and reviews you submit to us.

We process your personal data to:• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating, scoring, and exporting your documents;
• Create and manage your account, authenticate you, and enforce plan limits;
• Process subscriptions, payments, refunds, and send transactional emails such as receipts and password resets;
• Provide customer support and respond to your requests;
• Monitor, secure, debug, and improve the Service, and prevent fraud and abuse;
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: performance of a contract (providing the Service you signed up for); legitimate interests (securing the Service, preventing abuse, improving features, and basic analytics); consent (optional marketing communications and non-essential cookies, which you may withdraw at any time); and legal obligation (tax, accounting, and lawful requests).

Text you submit for generation, rewriting, or ATS scanning is sent to our AI model providers solely to return a result to you. We do not sell your content, and we do not use your documents to train foundation models. Our providers act as processors under contractual confidentiality and security terms.

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run the Service, under written data-processing terms:• Cloud hosting, database, authentication, and storage providers;
• AI model providers used to generate and analyse document content;
• Payment processors for subscriptions and invoices;
• Email delivery providers for transactional messages;
• Analytics and error-monitoring tools used to keep the Service reliable.We may also disclose data where required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you where required).

Our providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses together with supplementary technical and organisational measures.

We keep account and content data for as long as your account is active. If you delete a document, it is removed from active systems promptly and purged from backups within 30 days. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except records we must retain for legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention purposes (typically up to 7 years for billing records).

We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, row-level access controls so that your documents are readable only by your account, hashed credentials, least-privilege access for staff, and logging and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security; please use a strong, unique password.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• Correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
• Delete your data (right to be forgotten);
• Restrict or object to certain processing, including direct marketing;
• Receive your data in a portable, machine-readable format;
• Withdraw consent at any time, and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.You can edit or delete most data from your account page, or email us and we will respond within 30 days.

We use strictly necessary cookies and local storage to keep you signed in, remember your language and plan state, and secure the Service. We also use limited analytics to understand aggregate usage. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, but essential features such as sign-in will not work without them.

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

If you use TempCreators on behalf of an organisation and we process personal data on your instructions, our Data Processing Agreement applies in addition to this policy.
